Born on July 12, 1977, in San Antonio, Texas, United States, Steven Michael Robert Howey was a son of Bill Howey (father) and Carla Howey (mother). He came of age in Denver, Colorado. His early years were spent living in a boat house with his parents. Bill Howey, Steve’s father, is a versatile professional as an actor, director, and acting coach. The union of Carla and Bill Howey took place on October 11, 1975. They have 3 children together. In addition to her work, Carla acts as an acting coach/teacher. Two people live in Chandler, Arizona.
He attended Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colorado, before getting a basketball scholarship to join Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado for two years. Afterward, he began his acting journey through his father’s workshops instead of continuing his education.
Career
Steve’s acting career began with the 1998 independent film ‘Class’. He brought the film to life, while his father penned the script and took the director’s role.
