Maria Sara Bartiromo, born on September 11, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York, at the age of 59 as of 2026, comes from an Italian-American family. Through covering for other journalists over a span of five years, she accumulated a broadcast portfolio. In August 1993, she submitted her clips to Roger Ailes, who was then the president of CNBC. She was promptly hired.
