Daisy Ridley is an English actress whose main role in TV and ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was a mega-budget film. Initially, she began her acting career with guest appearances on TV shows, but her talent quickly made her a favorite in Hollywood. Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born on April 10, 1992 in Westminster, London. Her siblings include Kika-Rose Ridley and Poppy Sophia Ridley, making her the youngest of three daughters. Her mother, Louise Fawkner-Corbett, was an internal communications professional, and Chris Ridley is a photographer.
Ridley was exposed to the arts from an early age when he grew up in London. Hertfordshire’s Tring Park School for the Performing Arts was her alma mater where she graduated in 2010 at the age of 18. Her skills were sharpened by this institution and she was ready to pursue a career in acting.

In her early years, Daisy Ridley played minor parts in TV shows including Silent Witness, Youngers, Casualty, Mr. Selfridge, and Toast of London. She took part in a short film called Blue Season that was entered into the Sci-Fi-London 48-Hour Film Challenge. She was the primary character in the third Lifesaver film, which was an interactive film. The BAFTA Award was also awarded to this movie.
Daisy Ridley began her acting career by starring in British TV shows like ‘Casualty’ and ‘Silent Witness’. In 2015, she became known for her role as Rey in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, which was her breakthrough.
