Early Life

Cillian Murphy was a native of Douglas, but grew up in Ballintemple, one of Cork’s suburbs, on May 25th, 1976. The Irish Department of Education is where Brendan Murphy’s father works, and his mother teaches French. Educators are not just his parents, but also his aunts, uncles, and grandfather.
