Early Life & Education
Abbott was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, US on February 1st, 1986. He lived in Chickahominy, Greenwich, and Stamford as a child. Orville Abbott is Abbott’s father from Portugal and Eastern Europe, but Anna Servidio is his mother with Italian ancestry. Abbott was employed at a local video store and a friend’s wine shop as a teenager.
During his time at Norwalk Community College in Norwalk, Connecticut, he took theater classes and was motivated to pursue acting as a career choice. As a result, he enrolled in ‘Herbert Berghof Studio,’ also known as ‘HB Studio,’ Greenwich Village, New York, to acquire acting skills. His reason for moving to New York in 2006 was to be closer to the school.
Career
While Abbott was still studying at school, he made his acting debut as Justin in the play ‘Good Boys and True’ in the spring of 2008. Eventually, he appeared as Laura’s 15-year-old son in Mouth to Mouth. Everyone was pleased with his performance. In 2009, he was introduced to the world as Andy Singer in an episode of the medical comedy-drama series ‘Nurse Jackie’ called ‘Pill-O-Matix’.
