As she was crossing the street with her baby, Lillia Reisinger, in a stroller, the lady noticed the racing vehicles coming towards her at a fast speed. Pushing the baby’s stroller across the road was successful, but it did not move far enough. Jessica was killed by Cameron’s vehicle, while her daughter died a day after.

The police made public the arrests of Cameron Herrin, John Barrineau, and Tristan Herrin on May 23, 2018.

Cameron Herrin, who was released from jail on May 25, 2018, was re-arrested for more charges after baby Lillia died. Two criminal charges were added to him, one of which was vehicular homicide, unlawful racing on a highway, and reckless driving with serious bodily injury. According to an arrest warrant issued on May 31, 2018, the Herrin brothers were racing motorist John Barrineau at speeds over 162 mph.

While still in Hillsborough County Jail, Barrineau was charged with another vehicular manslaughter offense. A ‘not guilty’ plea was filed by Cameron Herrin and Barrineau in June 2018 regarding the deaths of Jessica and Lillia Raubenolt.
