Born on June 21, 1991, Tyler Childers is a native of Lawrence County, Kentucky, and has reached 34 years old as of March 2026. His family was immersed in Appalachian culture and coal mining heritage, with his father employed in the coal industry and his mother employed as a nurse. Thanks to his grandfather’s gift, he was able to learn to sing in his Free Will Baptist church choir and play the guitar at age five.
