Early life, education & career
Shay was a 2002 graduate from Bishop Amat Memorial High School in La Puente, California. In 2006, she received her Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Azusa Pacific University.
In 2012, she made her first television appearance, after making guest appearances on Greek, Jonas, Victorious, and 90210. Shay has performed several dance-pop songs on Vanderpump Rules, including “Good as Gold”. For her role on Vanderpump Rules, Shay and her co-stars Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney and Lala Kent won the “Best Reality On-Screen Team” award at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
In 2018, Shay relocated to Las Vegas for several months and starred in a stage show called Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man Anthony Cools Theater at Paris Las Vegas.
In July 2022, she introduced her own eyelash line called Summer, Moon, and Honey. Each lash bears the name of Shay’s daughter. She has gained a large social media following and endorses products such as beauty and wellness products on Instagram.

Scheana’s marriage to reality star Brandi Glanville was marred by a highly publicized affair with actor Eddie Cibrian. Scheana stated that the affair continued while he was married to LeAnn Rimes, which Eddie has vehemently denied. Scheana’s longtime boyfriend Michael Shay married her on July 27, 2014, which was her wedding date.
She made the choice to freeze her eggs following her divorce from Mike Shay. Scheana stated that she abstained from drinking, smoking marijuana, and having sex for the six weeks before her egg retrieval procedure. She was able to harvest 12 eggs with success. Less than a year after the first procedure, she decided to freeze her eggs again in 2019.
