Biography
On April 12, 1994, Saoirse Una Ronan became a citizen of the United States by becoming a resident of the Bronx Borough of New York City. Paul Ronan and Monica Ronan (nee Brennan) from Dublin were the parents of her, both of whom were Irish. Before becoming an actor in New York City, Paul Ronan, her father, worked in construction and bars.
Although she had appeared in several films as a child, her mother’s current job is as a nanny. The economic recession and subsequent famine in Ireland led to Saoirse Ronan’s parents immigrating to America in the 1980s.
