Early Life
Saleka, the eldest daughter of renowned filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, was born on August 1, 1996. At 29 years old, she has two siblings: Shivani Shyamalan and Ishana Night Shyamalan. Her father is well-known for directing films like The Sixth Sense (1999), Split (2017), Signs (2002), Unbreakable (2000), and The Visit (2015). Her mother, Bhavna Vaswani, is a psychologist.
Although she studied classical piano as a child, Saleka chose to focus on singing and songwriting. She went on to study Literary Arts and Music at Brown University.
