Born on June 8, 1985, in Seattle, Washington, Rosanna Pansino lived with her sister Molly Lu from childhood. Mamma Mia is her mother’s name; her father’s name was Papa Pizza.
Throughout her childhood, friends and family called her “nerdy” and “awkward”, and she faced dyslexia and ADHD in school, making her struggles evident. Originally, she aspired to act and after graduating from West Seattle High School and Pacific Lutheran University, she relocated to Los Angeles in her pursuit of a career in acting. Her agent compelled her to select between acting and YouTube during YouTube’s early stages, when she was still actively performing.
She was firm in her stance that she wouldn’t give up on YouTube, even though the risks were being assumed at that time. Rosanna Pansino, as reported by Cosmopolitan in 2015, stated: “Currently, I’m not generating revenue from YouTube.”. I knew it was possible to do that, but I wasn’t making a dime.
