Following his graduation, he settled in Los Angeles where he worked on commercials and participated in various auditions. Before he took on his first major role as Hawk Lane in The Path (2016-2018), he worked for 36 episodes. which helped him to develop his career, which includes participation in films such as Amor sin Barreras (2021), Rosaline (2022) and being announced in the main role of the adaptation Masters of the Universe (2024).

On October 10, 1994, Kyle Allen, an actor, was born in Livermore City, California. His family doesn’t recognize him because his sister Kristin Allen is a well-known American aerobatic athlete. The ‘Competitor of the Year’ grant was awarded to her in 2015. Prior to embarking on his acting career, he began his career as a ballet dancer.

Allen began training in acrobatics at a young age, and attended the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., where upon watching Taras Domitro perform Romeo & Juliet at the Kennedy Center, felt discouraged from pursuing ballet further. Following his graduation, he resided in Los Angeles and participated in commercials, one of which involved lip-syncing in a Master P music video.

Following his departure from the San Francisco Ballet in 2008, Allen began studying at the Kirov Institute of Ballet in Washington DC, where he pursued Performing Arts, Art History, and Classical Ballet until 2013. While residing in “Los Angeles,” as an afterthought, he proceeded with his dance journey by joining the “Los Angeles Ballet Theater,” and the opposite side signed with “THE Artist Talent Agency” for acting.

He made his film debut in 2014 as Malakai in the episode ‘Initiation’ of ‘The Dead Diaries’. Allen appeared in all 36 episodes of the Hulu drama series The Path, co-starring Aaron Paul and Michelle Monaghan, in July 2015. Upon the series ending in 2018, Allen appeared in a recurring role in American Horror Story, and in 2019, he was cast as Balkan, one of the Jets in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name.

In 2021, Allen was cast as Romeo in Rosaline, a modern retelling of Romeo & Juliet co-starring Kaitlyn Dever and Isabela Merced, and in The Greatest Beer Run Ever co-starring Zac Efron and Russell Crowe. Allen was set to play He-Man in the Netflix live-action movie remake of Masters of the Universe on January 28, 2022, but it was cancelled. Allen was slated to star in A Haunting in Venice, Kenneth Branagh’s third Hercule Poirot adaption, in October 2022.

Kyle Allen played a leading role alongside Sofia Carson in Netflix’s latest romantic comedy, The Life List, in 2025.
