On October 21st, 1993, Kane Brown, a talented country music singer and songwriter, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee’s picturesque city. Kane’s loving parents were fortunate enough to raise him in the serene countryside of northwest Georgia during his childhood. His mother’s name is Tabatha Brown, while his father is Mr. Brown.

Career
In 2013, Kane Brown made an attempt at auditioning for both American Idol and X-Factor and was selected for the latter. He decided to quit the show due to his desire to pursue a solo career when the producer wanted to put him in a boy band. He began posting his renditions of well-known songs online after quitting X-Factor. In a short period of time, he gained a massive fan following on the internet. His videos showcased song covers from Brantley Gilbert, Billy Currington, Alan Jackson, and Lee Brice.
Upon becoming an online music sensation, he proceeded to release his first EP, titled ‘Closer’, on June 2, 2015. The six-song EP was produced using the funds he raised on Kickstarter, a crowd-funding site. The Top Country Albums chart ranked it 22nd and it sold 3,200 copies in the first week of its release. The country digital songs chart placed the single ‘Don’t Go City on Me’ at number 43.
During the following months, he released several hit songs, including ‘Used to Love You Sober’, which was released on October 21, 2015, his birthday. He released his first full-length album in December after releasing his EP ‘Chapter 1’ in March. The album was a major success and was certified as platinum in the US.
