Demi Lovato’s parents were Dianna De La Garza, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, and Patrick Martin Lovato, an engineer. Her birth place was Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 20, 1992. Demi Lovato has two older siblings, Dallas Lovato and Madison De La Garza, while Amber Smith is the older paternal step-sister. Demi Lovato started acting gradually and made her first TV appearance in 2002. In the Disney show Barney & Friends, she played Angela.
