On July 11, 1990, Colin Paolo and Julia Mendelsohn, both classical pianists and vocal coaches, gave birth to Connor Paolo, whose birthplace is New York City, New York, USA.

He started attending Professional Performing Arts School in 2006 and then went on to study acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. At some point later, he became involved in the Appel Farm Arts and Music Center’s Summer Arts Camp. For a semester in 2008, Paolo was enrolled at New York University.
