Post Malone’s parents were Rich Post and his first wife, and his birth name was Austin Richard Post on July 4, 1995 in Syracuse, New York, USA. His parents eventually split up, and his father, who had been a disc jockey when he was young, raised him with his second wife, Jodie Post. Young Austin was introduced to various musical genres, including country, rock, and hip-hop, by him.
After playing the video game ‘Guitar Hero’, he began to learn how to play the guitar. In 2010, he auditioned for the American rock band ‘Crown the Empire’ but was turned down. Post Malone, Probst, and a few other artists and producers created the group BLCKVRD after relocating to Los Angeles and started making music together. In August 2015, Malone released the song ‘White Iverson’ which he had written shortly after. The song was released in a music video by him on July 19, 2015. Malone became popular in the music industry after the release of ‘White Iverson’, which received more than one million views within a month. A deal with Republic Records was signed by him in August 2015.
At Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday party, he also performed in August 2015. Kanye West was impressed by him and asked him to join him in the song ‘Fade’ from the album ‘The Life of Pablo’ during the party.
