Naomi began her profession as a singer in the Bridge Church Youth Band. Kéllé Bryan, a British singer, actor, and television personality, noticed her initially when she was a member of the British R&B girl band ‘Eternal’. Naomi ended up signing a contract with Bryan’s entertainment agency because of this. After that, Naomi collaborated with the English songwriting and production team ‘Xenomania’. After a video conference in London, she was able to land the starring role of Mohini ‘Mo’ Banarjee in the 2010 American teen musical drama ‘Lemonade Mouth’. On April 15, 2011, it was first aired on Disney Channel. Naomi gained initial recognition as an actor in the US thanks to its appreciation by the audience.
In the American science-fiction series ‘Terra Nova,’ she was cast as ‘Maddy Shannon,’ a 16-year-old girl who was both intelligent and socially awkward. From September 26 to December 19, 2011, the series aired on Fox for a season.
