The birth date of Liam Neeson, a prominent actor, is June 7th, 1952 in Ballymena, County Antrim. Bernard ‘Barney’ Neeson was his father and Katherine ‘Kitty’ Neeson was his mother, both of whom worked as primary school caretakers. Neeson’s Catholicism was instilled in him by his mother, who came from Waterford in the south-east of Ireland. His name was a combination of a local priest and his three sisters were Elizabeth, Bernadette, and Rosaleen. Neeson’s love for drama was ignited during his time at St Patrick’s College in Ballymena from 1963 to 1967.

Liam Neeson and Helen Mirren met in 1980 after filming Excalibur together. After a decade of living together, the two decided to move on. During a play together in 1992, Neeson and Natasha Richardson met. Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Richardson had a daughter named Natasha Richardson. Their love affair resulted in their marriage in 1994. Michael and Daniel were their children together. Tragically, Natasha was killed while skiing with Neeson in 2009 after receiving a severe blow to the skull.

After leaving the university, Neeson returned to Ballymena where he worked in a variety of casual jobs including fork-lift operator and truck driver, and attended teacher training college for two years in County Down. He was a member of the Lyric Players’ Theatre in Belfast from 1976 to 1978, where he performed for two years.
