Biography

On November 11, 1962, Demi Moore was born in Roswell, New Mexico, United States, as the daughter of Virginia King and Charles Harmon. Her mother remarried Danny Guynes after her parents broke up when she was young. During her childhood, the family experienced multiple relocations, culminating in her stepfather’s suicide.

Morgan Guynes, James Craig Harmon, Charlotte Harmon Eggar, and Charles Harmon Jr. were her siblings.

Her mother’s struggle with alcoholism and mental health issues resulted in their separation when she was young. It was a painful realization to realize that her biological father wasn’t who she thought, and tragically, her stepfather took his own life.

Demi Moore did not graduate high school, leaving before completion at Fairfax High School in West Hollywood, California, during her junior year at 16 years old to support her family financially.
