Biography

Domi czyk’s birthplace was Kielce, and she is the daughter of Aleksandra and Miros aw Dominczyk, who are members of the Polish Solidarity movement. Her family and she relocated to New York City in 1983 as asylum seekers because of their political leanings. Her father was involved with Amnesty International and the Solidarity movement. Marika Domiczyk and Veronika Domiczyk are sister actresses.

At Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in Manhattan, Domiczyk completed his education. After completing her studies at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama in Pittsburgh, she graduated in 1998.
