St. Louis, Missouri was where Andy Cohen was born on June 2, 1968, which is when he became a prominent media personality. Andy’s upbringing paved the way for his future endeavors, as he was raised by his parents, Evelyn Cohen and Lou Cohen, and his sister Emily Rosenfeld.

Cohen began his TV career by working as an intern at CBS News. He worked as a producer on several CBS shows during his long association with the network. As a senior producer, he was responsible for both ‘The Early Show’ and ‘CBS This Morning’ and ’48 Hours’. Cohen started working with Trio in 2000, and after it was taken over by Bravo, Cohen was promoted to vice president of original programming in 2004. Developing original content and formats, as well as identifying new talent, was one of his responsibilities as the executive vice president of development and talent at Bravo until 2013.
He was responsible for overseeing the production of the ‘Trio’ documentary ‘The N-Word’ (2004), the ‘Bravo’ reality TV series ‘Project Runway’ (2007), and the ‘Emmy’-winning ‘Bravo’ reality competition series ‘Top Chef’ (2010). He continues to work as an executive producer for the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise.
