Who is Matthew McConaughey?

One of the most prominent actors in Hollywood is Matthew McConaughey. The critically successful film ‘Dazed and Confused’ was his first taste of stardom. James Donald McConaughey, who owns and sells gas stations and oil, and Mary Kathlene McCabe, who teaches kindergarten, are Matthew McConaughey’s parents. On November 4, 1969, he was born in Uvalde, Texas, United States. His siblings include Rooster McConaughey and Pat McConaughey.

He appeared in small roles in a variety of movies including ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation,’ ‘Boys on the Side,’ and ‘Angels in the Outfield.’ In addition, he appeared on the TV series ‘Unsolved Mysteries’. His breakthrough came in 1996 with the thriller film ‘A Time to Kill,’ where he played the role of a lawyer named Jake Brigance.
