Diana Ross was created on March 26th in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in a family that was passionate about music with six siblings. Her parents, Fred Ross Sr., who worked at a bakery, and Ernestine Moten Ross, who was once a schoolteacher but now a homemaker, were responsible for her upbringing. Growing up in a working-class family, she was the second youngest of six siblings.
